doesn't it anoy you when you're trying to get on a website but it's all images and the screen reader won't work on it?

Well it's annoying when the kursor automatically moves back to the top of the page. Sometimes I copy the text of the site if I'm on the page and paste it into a word file then read it then I don't have the problem.
Yeah. that's annoying. Usually, I just turn off the feature that makes the screen keep refreshing. That at least works for awhile. *smiles*

yup I hate flash. Even for a ZT user the sites that have macroamedia or flash aren't in contrast. Where as all websites with high contrast on (windows contrast) is white on black. With the ones I've been on with Flash I have to also turn ZT's contrast on using the contrast command. Then enlarge the screen by 3 or 4 powers. Jaws on the other hand it never works. Some flash sites are accessible but most of them aren't and Jaws just doesn't read anything.
I think jaws works more slowly with sights that have flash, or a lot of images. I know the hi5 sight sure does. Plus it irritates me when these sights automatically start downloading macromedia flash player on you without just providing a link for people who actually might want to download the thing. I don't see that macromedia flash player has any use for blind users. the only reason the download never happens is because windows is set to ask me if i want to run and install it and i tell it no, but it gets so sluggish that jaws sometimes stops talking till the dialogue comes up asking you that. I know I have to wait a good 3 minutes each time before I can choose no and just go on about my business.
